We are always busy organizing events and raising awareness of how healthy as well as fun dancing can be for everyone, young and old and literally of all ages.
We are incredibly excited to be dancing for UC Davis Children’s Hospital, Sacramento and Children’s Miracle Network at the Mira Loma Dance Marathon 2009! This is a first ever for Sacramento and the first high school hosted Dance Marathon for a Children’s Miracle Network hospital on the ENTIRE West Coast – and we are proud of it!
We are looking forward to making this event permanent not only on Mira Loma’s calendar but on Sacramento’s calendar too.

Dancing for Fun and Fitness

There is far more to dance than just meets the eye in terms of people having a good time or making motion to music. There is a very real health aspect to the moves and the whole body in tune with music thing that can have incredibly positive health benefits when you do this regularly and often.
Not to mention the way you can really boost your fitness, strength and stamina levels through elevated muscle work in a way that doesn't feel a bit like working out. For many people who simply cannot exercise at a gym, for instance, dancing provides an alternative that is both fun and seriously healthy at the same time.
For those of you more interested in getting into dance as a way of keeping fit in what has to be the most enjoyable way I know of, then this website is opening itself up to including a series of articles based on keep fit and dance as well as healthy diet as an all-encompassing package of healthfulness that is tough to beat!
The various sections are being created as I type and the titles and index will appear below for ease of navigation and a simple way to easily find what you're looking for. Remember, the first emphasis is on dance for enjoyment and all the rest follows on as a complete lifestyle altering means to a better life!
